When is Hotel MOHI by Appellation opening?
Hotel MOHI by Appellation will debut in early winter 2026. Beginning in summer 2025, we will start accepting bookings for corporate offsites, weddings, executive retreats, incentive trips, and full property buyouts.
Can I tour the hotel before it opens?
Absolutely. We’re offering private hard hat tours during construction so you can preview the space, experience the design vision, and get inspired. Please contact us at 408.706.3000 to schedule an appointment.

Do you offer arranged transportation?
Yes, by all means. Our concierge team will be able to provide transportation options for shuttles and limos, and can also arrange Morgan Hill Wine Trolley services.
Can I have my ceremony and reception at Hotel MOHI by Appellation?
Yes, we can host both your ceremony and your reception up to 620 people as well as small intimate ceremonies.
How many guests can you accommodate for a seated wedding?
In the Ballroom, we can accommodate up to 500 people for a seated event. In the Outdoor Courtyard, we can accommodate up to 90 people for a seated event.
Do you offer full service wedding coordination?
While we offer robust planning support, we highly recommend and oftentimes require that you work with a local wedding planner for your special day. We can share our recommendations for the best wine country wedding planners.
Do you allow outside vendors or provide a list of preferred local vendors?
We provide a list of preferred local vendors and do require you to appoint a wedding planner. Other vendors may be permitted upon request, charges may apply for vendors not on our list. All vendors must be licensed and insured.
Are bands or live music permitted at Hotel MOHI by Appellation? And do you have recommendations?
Yes, we can have live music on property until 10:00 pm outdoors and 12:00 am indoors. Our wedding specialists are happy to provide a recommended list of musicians, bands and DJs for you as well.
What type of alcohol service is allowed?
You are welcome to bring in outside wines with corkage fees, however no outside beer or liquor is allowed. Our team will provide all beverage service.
Is there a wedding suite(s) with space for the bridal party to get ready together? And a separate suite for the groomsmen?
Yes we have several suites and the parties can have their own space to get ready for the big day.
Do you offer room blocks for wedding events?
We sure do! Our sales and wedding specialists teams are happy to help secure a room block for you.
