What are check-in and check-out times?
Check-in begins at 4:00 PM. Check-out is at 11:00 AM. Early check-in and late check-out may be possible (based on availability) but may incur a fee.
Is parking included?
Yes, we have ample on-site self-parking and it is complimentary with your stay.
What is the resort fee and what does it include?
The resort fee is currently $27.00 plus tax per night plus tax and includes: daily coffee service at Maison Lodi (6:00–10:00 AM), access to the fitness center, use of the pool and jacuzzi (with towel service), high-speed WiFi, premium cable, and complimentary water coffee and tea.
Is the resort pet-friendly?
Yes, we are not just dog friendly, we are dog passionate. Dogs are allowed in a limited number of specially designated “canine-friendly” rooms. The pet fee is $100 (plus tax) per stay for up to two dogs (service animals exempt). Dogs cannot be left unattended in the guest room and must be leashed while on the grounds. Dog beds, bowls and treats are provided.
Does the resort have a pool and other recreation amenities?
Yes. The resort features an outdoor heated pool (in winter) and a jacuzzi. The pool is open daily (6 AM–10 PM). There’s also a fitness center with cardio and strength equipment, abundant herb, floral and culinary gardens, as well as two Chef Charlie Palmer restaurants: Americana House and Maison Lodi.
What is the spa like and are there any special policies?
Wine & Roses Spa is open daily, offers personalized treatments (massages, facials, wraps, polishes, makeup, and more) in a setting rooted in the region’s botanical gardens and nature-inspired design.
Is the resort non-smoking?
Yes — smoking (including e-cigarettes/vaping) is prohibited throughout the resort (including exterior areas except where specifically designated). If evidence of smoking in a room is found, a fee may apply and guest registration may be terminated.

Yes, we feature two newly opened Chef Charlie Palmer restaurants:
- Americana House (formerly Towne House Restaurant) – a signature Chef Charlie Palmer concept focusing on locally-sourced seasonal cuisine.
- Maison Lodi – a French-inspired café, bakery and market featuring daily house-made breads, pastries, rotisserie items, and local grab-and-go selections.
Is the resort undergoing renovation or changes?
Yes, we rebranded under the name “Appellation Lodi – Wine & Roses Resort and Spa” in June 2025, following a guest room refresh, culinary program and design, while honoring Wine & Roses longtime community legacy.
Are connecting rooms or suites available?
No, we do not offer any connecting or adjoining rooms, but offer multiple suites for accommodating families and groups.
What are the accessibility features at the resort?
The resort welcomes guests of all abilities and the main building entrance, registration desk and accommodations are ADA-compliant. Please note the majority of our guest rooms are accessed via exterior doors, many of which require stairs to access. Our ADA guest rooms and suites are all ground level.
