Accessibility at Appellation
We want every guest to be able to plan a stay with us, reserve a room, read a menu and find what they need on this site — whatever technology they use to get here.
What we are working toward
We are working to bring appellationhotels.com into conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2, Level AA. These are the internationally recognized standards for making web content usable by people with disabilities, including people who use screen readers, navigate by keyboard, rely on captions, or need to adjust text size, spacing and color.
Where we stand today
This site is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. That means we meet many of the standard's requirements but not yet all of them.
Through 2026 we have carried out a substantial program of accessibility work with our web development partner, covering the reservation flow, forms and error messaging, keyboard navigation, page structure and color contrast. That work is well advanced and continuing, and releases go out regularly.
We would rather tell you that plainly than claim a standard we have not finished meeting.
Reserving an accessible room
At our open properties, accessible rooms can be reserved through this website in the same way as any other room, and during the same hours. Accessible rooms are described alongside our other accommodations, so you can judge whether a room meets your needs before you book.
If you would rather not book online, or if the site gets in your way, call us anytime at 707-473-8213 and we will complete the reservation with you, at the same rates and on the same terms as booking online. If you need to confirm a specific accessible feature before you travel, ask us and we will check the actual room.
If something on this site does not work for you
Please tell us. Reports from guests are the fastest way we find problems, and we would rather hear about it than have you give up on us.

Parts of this site provided by others
Some of what you use here is operated by other companies on our behalf — including room booking, restaurant menus, dining reservations and job applications. For a list of specific third-party service providers, please see our Privacy Policy. Their accessibility may differ from the rest of the site. We raise problems with those providers when we find them, and we will always offer a way to complete the task directly with us instead. If one of them blocks you, contact us and a person will help you finish what you started.
How we test
We combine automated testing with manual review, including keyboard-only testing and assessment by people who use assistive technology day to day. Our most recent independent review was carried out in September 2026 by a consultant who is blind and uses the JAWS screen reader. Its findings are feeding directly into the work now underway.
