Join Artist-in-Residence Bob Nugent for an intimate exploration of Renaissance-inspired still life drawing. Rooted in his embrace of wabi-sabi—the beauty of imperfection and impermanence—and sentido—a philosophy of deeper meaning and feeling—his teaching encourages students to see beyond technique and connect emotionally with their subject.

This hands-on class encourages guests to move beyond technique, finding emotion, presence, and personal expression in every line. Following this session, Nugent will host casual “office hours,” inviting participants to share a glass of wine and conversation about art, process, and his international journey.
