Join August's Artist‑in‑Residence Bradford Brenner for an intimate, hands on painting workshop inspired by his signature floral works. Brad will begin by sketching a floral composition in charcoal and demonstrating how he approaches color, layering, and movement in his paintings. Guests will then create their own 12" × 6" canvas to take home, using Brad’s guidance and all materials provided. No experience necessary, just curiosity and a willingness to play with paint.

Bradford Brenner

Painter & Gallery Owner

Bradford Brenner is a painter and gallery owner who has worked from the historic Healdsburg Plaza for years, and at his craft for thirty-seven. Largely self-taught, he paints in wet, spontaneous passes — florals and landscapes built from feeling rather than detail, drawing on the Old Masters, the Impressionists, the Tonalists and the Abstract Expressionists. Collectors are drawn to the looseness. In this workshop he brings that same instinct to the table, teaching color, layering, and movement to first-time painters and practiced hands alike.
