Fall Wreath-Making Workshop

Robert Mahar sets the table with everything the season has to offer: seasonal greens, dried botanicals, berries, and the kind of texture that only turns up this time of year. Over two hours he walks you through building a wreath from the frame out. How to attach foliage so it holds. How to layer colour and texture so the finished piece reads as one thing rather than a pile of parts. How to finish it with a bow that actually looks like a bow. You will also learn how to hang it and keep it looking right once it is on your door. Bring your sister, your mother, or whoever you most like to make things with. There is something warm to drink while you work, and a twelve-inch wreath to carry home at the end of it.
