Master Pumpkin Artist

Marlene Hild is a creative soul who blends a love of plants and art through her favorite seasonal practice: pumpkin carving. Encouraged from childhood to freehand original designs, she later began carving professionally for businesses and private clients. Her favorite part is illumination—the way a pumpkin transforms from light to dark. When she’s not carving, Marlene explores block printing, screen printing, design, and teaching, and spends as much time as possible in California’s Sierra Nevada.
