Presence" is rooted in the North Bay where coastal fog rolls in from the Pacific, vineyard hills catch gold light at dusk, and the headlands stand quiet above the water. These are not backdrops. They are living spaces with their own memory, their own rhythm, and their own claim on the people who enter them. Presence in the Landscape is an offering of attention — an invitation to stand still long enough to feel how a place holds you, and to ask what it is asking of you in return.

These paintings grow out of a belief that earth and being are braided together. The ridge lines, fog banks, vineyards, and coastal air are not scenery; they are witnesses. In this series, landscape becomes altar, atmosphere becomes testimony, and the body becomes a place where something holy still meets us.

Presence asks one central question: What if the land is not only where we live, but where we are remade?
