Artist-in-Residence

Camille Selhorst

We are honored to welcome artist Camille Selhorst as Appellation Healdsburg's Artist-in-Residence from April 1 - 30, 2026.

Camille Selhorst is a celebrated California-based fine artist known for her radiant, abstract floral paintings that explore the interplay between softness, strength, and feminine expression. Her signature "petalescent" works—vibrant bursts of color and light—evoke the immersive experience of being enveloped by blooming flowers, creating visual meditations on beauty and self-expression.

Raised in Northern California's countryside, Selhorst's artistic vision was shaped by early memories of painting sunflowers with her mother and lying amidst wildflowers. Her intuitive process utilizes mixed media including spray paint, pastels, acrylics, 24-karat gold leaf, and oil paints to create rich, textured works. Now based in Sonoma County, she paints from her studio overlooking a terraced garden, drawing inspiration from the flowers she cultivates.

Named a "Top 10 Emerging Artist in Northern California," Selhorst's work has been internationally exhibited and collected by celebrities and top wine families, with paintings featured in private collections worldwide.

Camille's artwork is represented locally in downtown Healdsburg at Rena Charles Gallery.
